Description
Large natural specimen of the Arietites ammonite. Dramatic presence with its raw and natural prep work. The whorl is large and spirals into perfection at its centre, while colours of brown and ochre add antiquity and beauty. Bivalve fossils are present in amongst its front face, while on the reverse the matrix is mixed with veins of marble coloured quartz. A fascinating geological specimen.
