Pyrite Cluster

Description

This dramatic specimen has a cubic shape with a mantle of thick quartz covering a core of pure pyrite. Superb colouring there is a spread of cube pyrite over two faces, whilst the other faces are covered with quartz crystals. This is a unusual formation of quartz and pyrite coming from the world’s most sought after pyrite mines in Peru.
