This beautiful, large, fire nautilus at this size is rare. It has great presence as well as astonishing colour , normally associated with the Cleoniceras Ammonite. This is a very large Nautilus and as such is rare. The Nautilus shows beautiful fire greens and reds over most of its nacre. Part of the nacre at the mouth of the largest chamber shows the sub surface and ribbing of the creature.

Note: Unlike most suppliers of this type of Nautilus – the one you see is the one that will be shipped. No two nautilus are the same, and all are specifically chosen to be free of any fissures, restorations and rocks glues, or cracks. These are common in this type of nautilus and fossil matrix.
