Description
Museum quality large lytoceras specimen. This species is rare at this size. The nacre reveals rainbows of colour at different angles. The ammonite is characterised by striking raised bands spiralling into its centre . The quality of preparation and preservation is high with a beautiful nacre covering on both sides of the ammonite. Small restoration evident at end chamber which is not uncommon in an ammonite this size. This is a valuable edition to any collector’s inventory.
