Description
This large size Goniatite has a dramatically contrasts white, dark grey and very unusual soft browns. The suture pattern is starkly contrasted against the matrix and spirals perfectly into the centre of the specimen. But it is very unusual and rare to have an Orthoceras fossilised jointly within the same piece. Many goniatites of this size are simply carved stone with few suture patterns showing. This specimen is also of an uncommonly large size and sits by itself without the need of a stand. It is a superb specimen and a beautiful interior piece.
