Description

Museum quality black goniatite specimen. Beautifully presented and carefully removed from its limestone matrix. The quality of this preparation is evident in all its dimensions. The spiral suture pattern is 100% evident on both sides of the ammonite. The careful preparation shows the intricacy and natural beauty of this specimen including the dramatic involute.  In addition one side shows additional small fossilised ammonites as part of the specimen. This is a valuable edition to any collector’s inventory.
