This is a rarer jaw section from a rarer genus of the Mosasaur – Globidens aegypticus. This section contains 4 rooted teeth in excellent condition. Original bone structure prepped from phosphate bearing matrix.

Genus: Globidens aegypticus
Age: Late cretaceous 70 million years old.
Locality: Khouribga phosphate deposits, Morocco
Warning: Many jaw sections from the mosasaur family are not real. The practise of placing bone on rock and fitting teeth on top is widespread and common for this fossil type. Be sure to know the authenticity of your piece. The only time we would sell such a piece is when we label it “Educational reconstruction”
