Description
Known as Carcharoces megalodon AND Carcharadon Megalodon, these giant teeth are very collectable for their formidable size and weight. This is a beautiful tooth. Unusual colouration in a pinky brown matrix and enamel. This is a big tooth. The front enamel is in very good condition with small amount of peel in the middle section and fine on the reverse. There are small nicks in the tooth edge and hints of serration. The root is is sound condition with central crack but not structurally weak. No restoration anywhere on this specimen.
NOTE: Large Megalodon teeth are often repaired especially in the root where cracks are often found. Some are also glued together from 2 pieces.
