Ammonite Unident. sp

Description

This beautiful, large ammonite although an unidentified species similar to the Cleoniceras, both in the suture patterning as well as the fire colours in its nacre. This specimen has the rarer mauve colour as well as flash green. It features a strong fibonacci whorl on both sides. The suture colouring is a rich brown with overlays of pale nacre. This specimen is in great condition not needing additional work, being wonderfully preserved. Beautifully symmetrical, this piece would be well positioned in a favoured location, be it office or home. – particularly as a design show piece & maybe complimenting a second ammonite.
