Ammonite Jelezkytes nebrascensis

Description

This beautiful ammonite has a beautiful soft red glow in its nacre and features little nodules over its outer surface. its has been crystalised and the inner crystal matrix is visible in parts. Other fossils, and many negative impressions are present on all parts of the matrix.

This ammonite is in wonderful original condition. It was found in the Fox Hills Formation in the North Western Great Plains of North America, this being found in South Dakota.
