Ammonite Phylloceras Heterophyllum

Description

This beautiful ammonite is chestnut brown with a fascinating suture pattern.  It has an almost pure, translucent crystal matrix with a 3-dimensional aspect of the suture pattern termination. This makes for a very interesting and beautiful display piece. There is a slight dimple in the top arch of the ammonite – but this does not detract from this specimen.
