Brown Roman Bowl

Description

This simple and elegant bowl is carved from a single piece of fossilised stone. WIth a deep body, and wide base it features many examples of ancient orthoceras and ammonite fossils throughout its inner and outer surface. Functional for many purposes , it would add a wonderful talking point on any table or living area. Unlike much material from this area, this piece has been hand polished to a high shine WITHOUT a varnish finish.
