This superb bowl features a cherry red matrix filled with little ammonite and nautilus fossils. The bowl is carved in relief from am ammonite on the side. Both sides have been polished and have fossil clearly visible. Quite functional it can double as a wonderful talking point on any table or living area.
Unlike much material from this area, this piece has been hand polished to a high shine WITHOUT a varnish finish.
