Discovered in 2012 in Sumatra, this amber has a blue tinge which is a colour shared with some of the world's rarest dominican ambers. Natural sunlight brings out the blue tinge, whilst under stronger UV light, it also fluoresces to an incredible neon blue. With light going through, it becomes translucent in a deep cognac colour.
This pendant is testament to the beauty of simplicity. It is a big chunk (67ct!) of polished blue amber set with large ring of silver.
