This beautiful, medium sized rare ammonite is a chestnut brown with fascinating suture patterning with an amazing second ammonite Lytoceras hitching a ride down through the millennia. This ammonite species retains some nacre and the final chamber has been prepped to show the suture outlines. Both of these co-joined ammonites are in great condition. These two ammonites were found where the great Boab trees of Madagascar are now flourishing.
